Forestdale idea
I think that Forestdale should have a high level and low level platform. So maybe turn the station into Tamworth, there’d be a diesel route on the high level (like Tamworth irl) and keep the Norrington mainline as is. Just a speculation but it seems quite cool in my mind.
Issue with this bit of track.
Just outside of Norrington going towards Hulme Heath, I find myself and another train colliding here after either me or the other person is going into the terminating platforms. Like I could be exiting either Platform 5 or 6 and I end up colliding with someone going to the terminating platforms.
A cool shot of a XC 170 on the bridge near St Porthen.
A bit blurry but I tried my best to fix it. :)
Doing a late ECS movement to Brynmouth from Pencarn.
I might start regularly doing these to simulate a train going to the depot (I would love that to be an optional feature). :)
For those who don’t know yet…
Update should hopefully release on the original date! 🎉
Will this be used
After the trailer yesterday, does anyone think this section of track will be able to be used? Or will it be made accessible in a few updates time?
I’m indicating where my very artistic red circle is.
Will there be another train?
In the latest preview we’ve been shown that the Class 175 will be coming to the game. Does that mean that another new train will be shown in the trailer?
Suggestion for different speed limit signs.
⬆️ Taken by me on a heritage railway line today (West Somerset if you’re wondering).
It’ll be a small touch to the game but I think it’d be nice if these signs were added to the Fayre Branch and any other upcoming heritage style branches. Only issue I think that would turn some heads is the visibility.
Locos that deserve a place in BR
1: The Class 55 “Deltic”
Built in 1961 and 1962 it is one of the most spectacularly impressive diesel locomotives made for British Railways. I would love the devs to add the livery shown above in.
2: The Class 52 “Western”
Built between 1961 and 1964, they were also known as ‘Thousands’ or ‘Wizzos’. Though sadly, the last of the Westerns were taken out of service in 1977 giving them a short but sweet lifetime. This loco looks amazing and would look great with some MK1 Coaches.
3: The Class 37 “Tractor”
Built between 1960 and 1965, 309 of these units were built! They have been the workhorse of diesel traction in the UK from the 60s to today earning them a great reputation, now being used by heritage railways and Network Rail. It’s a great unit, even with its low top speed of only 90mph it definitely deserves its place in the game.
These are my suggestions, feel free to name anymore below! 🙂
