Hi! I'm an incoming freshman planning to major in physics. I wanted to know if it is common to skip the intro physics sequence (70 & 160) and jump into 470? I'm taking MAT 350 first semester too, but I have self-studied multivariable calculus over the summer and I have done physics olympiads at intl level so I was wondering if it is acceptable & beneficial to take 0470 first semester.

I don't want to rush stuff but I would really like to dive into cool advanced physics as soon as possible.
