(I cambié el ISO entre 320 y 640 según la escena, manteniendo ambas cámaras emparejadas..

De entrada, la diferencia más grande que vas a notar es la profundidad de campo—principalmente por la diferencia en el tamaño del sensor.

On May 13th, 2026, I placed an order on the Sony Spain website. Today I received this message. Everything seems fine on my end, as the amount is currently on hold in PayPal by Sony. Has this happened to anyone else? The text says:

After having a very good experience with my Xperia 5 IV (I’m attaching a photo from two days ago), I’ve decided to purchase the Xperia 1 VIII.

We’re all familiar with Sony’s usual approach when it comes to marketing its products—or rather, its marketing strategy—but I find it surprising that, after several days, there still hasn’t been a more explicit mention of the video capabilities.

Personally, I place a lot of importance on video—arguably even more than on photography. Will we be able to shoot in Log? In 10-bit? Perhaps through a future update? These are all details that would be important to highlight. I’ll be the first to, as soon as I get it, run a video camera test so I can share the results.
