Returning from mat leave - I have been back a few months and I can no longer keep up with full time. Has anyone requested 3 days and been rejected? I should have requested 3 days from the get go.
So my 1 year old has just started daycare 1 day a week and she hates it. It’s been a month and have to pick her up early as she refuses to eat and drink there. She is that upset from crying she makes herself vomit. This is extremely distressing for me.
Now daycare, whilst the workers seem to be ok they aren’t proactive with giving me any additional support with settling her. They just said it takes time.
I have quite a few admin issues with the centre and this has decreased my trust.
Do I find a new centre and hope she enjoys it more? I don’t know what to do 😭

Struggling with the thought of daycare days. Financially can’t afford me not to work.
How many days does your Lo do daycare? Do you regret sending them 4 days? Please help with mum guilt, my position is people management and don’t think it would work me working 3 days.
What does your flexible work arrangement look like? I have a 1 hour commute to work (each way) and am trying to schedule office hours and school pickups. Would love to hear from others what works and what doesn't.
