Hardest thing to justify.

What part of your collecting/collection/hoard was/is the hardest to justify?

Had to do it recently with my monthly podcast updating, I have a bunch that I follow and love, and I enjoy the ease of pushing a button/waiting a few seconds/minutes and every episode is done.

There was a duo doing a radio show that, after so many years, finally!!! had a falling out and stopped. It was mainstream news, I was completely unaware they had every episode they ever did as podcasts, over 16 thousand episodes and over 300GB.

I internally justified it the same way I did when CK got taken out. I didn't follow him/subscribe or believe in any of what he said/did but since every person that was there livestreamed the moment, it was caught from every possible angle and was mainstream news, it was a moment in history and, that being one of my hoarding, instantly I got his social media, his youtube page, tiktok account ect, not knowing if it would continue or be used in evidence or taken down completely, shoved it onto a hard drive knowing i'll never see it again but I know I have it.

Same goes for this podcast, I didn't subscribe/follow/listen I hated them and thought they were just proof of how the society continues to fuel the ongoing garbage dumpster fire that is this planet.

But I clicked download, 300GB finished, and I shoved it onto a hard drive never to see the light of day.

Share you stories so I don't feel as bad.

Should I take anything to strengthen fingernails

40M I am unsure if it is related to Crohn's, my job, or me taking Wegovy (GLP-1) but lately I have been noticing that my fingernails are getting broken easier than before. My job is pretty labour intensive and it is only at quiet moments, I look down and see a chunk missing or a bit on the end has been chipped off like chipping a tooth. I have been on Imuran (Azathioprine) 4x50mg since Oct 2023, and take Zyrtec (antihistamines) MagMin (Magnesium) Turmeric, Fibre and Vitamin D daily.

Should I be taking any supplement to strengthen my fingernails?

Is this happening for anyone else?

Looking for a better answer than ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

When I was first diagnosed in 2023, I was told I had a fatty liver, it's not that I am incapable of independent thought or doing a Google search (using A.I) but I was never instructed, no hand holding, as to how to fix/solve it. No eating plan, no helpful strategy, no diet nothing.

3 years later and 13kg lighter (Wegovy) I had blood tests done that said my bilirubin and ALT is high, and just spoke to my GP, who said it just has to do with the fatty liver, there is nothing to be concerned about, she is not concerned, no changes needed, just stick to my diet and exercise regiment.

Is it really that bad once diagnosed with it? anyone else? or any other strategies I can start implementing?

Cause for alarm or do people react differently to bad news.

When first diagnosed with Crohn’s at 37 I was also told I had a fatty liver. While undergoing the tests to determine Crohn’s my parents were more concerned, and if anything overreacted, at the possibility it might have been a hernia.

3 years later, in clinical remission, and 12kg lighter (Wegovy) and my ALT and Bilirubin levels are still high, and my GP recommended an ultrasound to figure out what is going on. No reaction from my parents whatsoever, other than “the liver can bounce back”

Feel like this is more serious than they are reacting

I have been on Azathioprine/Imuran (4 a day) for 3 years as well as 1 Turmeric pill. Could that elevate the levels?

Am I wrong?
