What happens if you put your two weeks notice in during a focus? And then let’s say a year or two down the road you try to come back?

Any HRBP’s in here or anyone that would have this answer?

Has anyone here been on a focus and successfully got off of it?

Just curious if anyone has been on one at amazon? Anything you learned the along the way? Honestly I got put on one and it seems attainable.. I just have some hiring targets I need to hit.

First time on Focus

For context, I’m a recruiter at Amazon.
I don’t think they’re necessarily wrong for putting me into the process. If I’m being objective, I’ve probably gotten a little complacent at times and there have been areas where my attention to detail and adherence to standard work could have been better.
What I’m trying to understand is how people who have actually been through this at Amazon experienced it.
How common is it for employees to successfully complete the process and return to good standing?
Did you find it was genuinely developmental, or was it mostly a step toward eventual termination?
What specific things did you do that helped you get out of it?
How long did the process last for you?
My manager has been clear that this is not a PIP and has emphasized support, coaching, and regular check-ins. I’m taking it seriously and want to improve, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t worried.
I’d appreciate hearing from anyone who has personally gone through Focus/Performance Management at Amazon, especially recruiters, sourcers, or others in corporate roles.

Been building this collection for a bit and finally organized everything by team.
Everything in here is:
Rated rookies
Inserts
Numbered cards
Patch cards
Some autos
No real base junk — tried to keep it all at least somewhat collectible.

Looking to sell everything or piece it out send me a message
