Parade thoughts

  1. I liked the later start time. Coming home from downtown, I was able to make it. I hopped on light rail at 5:30 at Iron Point. Easy

  2. Food... I think the restaurants had a huge opportunity to have grab and go food, but as usual, they treat it like any other dining night. Scott's was downright snotty when I asked if they offered any grab and go options. At the least, a bunch of food trucks were necessary.

  3. Loved everything about the parade. Old west, founding fathers, etc, loved it all.

  4. cattle drive. I'm happy it's back. But I really didn't like how they sheltered all the cattle with the horses. Past years they brought them down the street and shoo'd the kids off the road. Disappointed in that, but it was still fun.

Totally worth it, but one of these days I wish Sutter Street merchants took advantage of crowds. This is not a new phenomenon with them.

Do gyms have selective lighting?

I swear the only time I look good is at the gym. I think it's the lighting. Am I alone? I feel like there's a science to make you look good with the right lighting.

What's an SNL recurring sketch that would make a good full length movie?

We haven't had a movie based on an SNL sketch in a while. What would you like to see on the big screen?
