Railroaded

Anyone else forced to accept a role DM wanted you to have by means of manipulation…. I had said “no thanks I’ll wait” next thing I know I have disciplinary shit that railroaded me and I ended up taking said role because I needed out of my current one.

Interns

What is the point of having interns at the store level. They are just bodies that get in the way. All we are doing is proving to them that retail sucks and stay in college.

What is your opinion

If you have an employee that isn’t quite ready to be promising on the spot stain matches but does anyways. We already have a line up of stains in the back. Do you
A. Help him anyways to
B. Tell him he promised it, it’s on him
C. Interrupt and tell customer we don’t do that this is our policy
D what’s your take

***if they pick a minwax color and hate it, do you consider altering it “a custom stain”

DIY rant of the day

Why do DIYs think that walking in at 4:58 is acceptable. I don’t go into any place that closes in 30 mins much less 2 mins. Then they have the audacity to expect all the attention in the world and have their order made that day. I normally take the order and tell them it will be ready the next day
