PSA: Emporium is underrated for World Cup matches

I’ve watched some World Cup matches at Emporium and think it doesn’t get the credit it deserves. Big venue, 50’ screen, nice audio, and you can reserve a table and bring your own food or have it delivered.

I’ve got friends together to watch there and had an awesome time.

I generally watch soccer matches (champions league, premier league) at the usual spots (Kezar, Mad Dog), but I know it’d be near impossible to get a larger group there without showing up an hour or more in advance for US games. I’ve turned towards Emporium, and it’s been great. Especially for casual fans that won’t show up that early.

I don’t work there. Just want to support a great space and the World Cup watching experience in SF for the casual audience since the city pretty much dropped the ball.
