Does anyone here have any connections to any writers that work on the arts and culture sections of Style Weekly, RVA Mag or something else I haven’t discovered yet?

I’ve created a new immersive creative experience here in Richmond that combines history, folklore, mad science and art making. Everyone that has participated in the experience has absolutely loved it. I’d love to get a little local press on it.

With all this crazy rain, my gutters are going sideways. lol. What’s your recommended gutter replacement folks around RVA?

I have completely cleaned my gutters, and the rain is still just spilling right over the sides and carving out a dang trench. So I need to replace them asap. Most of my searches come back with these super aggressive super expensive gutter companies. Do yall have any recommendations for local RVA companies you have personally used?

The Mothman: An Inter-Dimensional Cut Paper Monster-Making Workshop

Howdy Richmonders, after many months of scripting, producing, editing, more writing, experimenting, testing, and more editing, Professor Dr. Von Weirdo's new immersive creative Mothman workshop has finally arrived!

In this 2-hour interactive workshop, guests learn the true story of the Mothman legend while assembling a striking blacklight reactive mixed-media paper monster using precision-cut pieces, glue techniques, and design layering. Expect campy humor, melodramatic theatrical storytelling, over-the-top sound effects, ridiculously intense music, and plenty of historical tragedy, as you layer bridge parts, claws, wings, antennae, and demonic eyes into a finished piece you’ll be proud to display.

We currently have workshops available every Saturday and Sunday throughout the summer, from 2pm - 4pm!

Our experimental mad-scientist artsy training laboratory is located inside Artworks on Hull St., at out studio called "Embrace the Weird".
