Our journey to Japan started on the Busan-Fukuoka ferry. We had a few days in Fukuoka and greatly enjoyed the udon noodles and strawberries but sadly didn’t get a chance to try any Hakata style ramen. (Well, we had a chance but I accidentally ordered a soy-based broth rather than one of the creamy style I was hoping, and didn’t have any meals in town after that!)

We are in the Tamatsukuri area of Osaka now but definitely fine with wherever in Osaka.

Did we loose our chance? Is it possible to try regional ramens outside their region?
