I knew the extended family
Seeing the case back on the news again and all over social media, and I really hope they finally get parole. Especially, with a member of Menudo speaking out. I dated one of their cousins on their father’s side of the family in the early to mid 1990s and met a lot of their aunts/uncles and siblings and cousins, many of whom even testified in the trial. They were genuinely very lovely people and you would never assume something like this would happen in a family like that! I even recall one of their female cousin’s wedding which awkwardly took place like a month after the arrests happened, and before the trials started, and I imagine it must’ve been so hard for the family. For the record, I’m about the same age as Lyle. Yes, I know I’m old. 😅
