HEAT

Anyone else having the unit overheat lately with the hot weather we've been having? If I ever forget to shove the unit all the way underneath the seat on a hot day, it just doesn't work. Let's me blow in regular, inhale regular, then exhale regular, but then at the end instead of "beep" and then "testing" what happens instead is I beeps like crazy a bunch of times and then tells me to retry. This is 100% due to the tempurature because my typical solution to this is unplug it and wave it around a bit(since I obviously can't just start my car to use the AC to cool it down). But anyway. This shit happened to me WHILE DRIVING today. It was sitting on my cupholder, must have been direct sunlight because it got hot and wouldn't accept a test from me. Almost gave me a fucking heart attack because I was scared, I've already gotten re-suspended before for issues with this stupid thing, and I'm going on like year 9 with the fucker due to that (initial req was 2 years. But the hardship license I had for 2 years didn't count so it was really four, and then I got a 10yr suspension RIGHT AT WHAT WOULD HAVE HEEN THE END of year 4, took 2 years to appeal the suspension. then they restarted my two years after successful appeal. I'm done soon. But not soon enough). Anyway, this overheating and not letting me even test bullshit is a little scary. And it seems like it's really really frequent that this is happening.

Anyone got any ideas on keeping this thing from overheating? I maybe just have to shove it deep under the seat while I am driving too, but then I won't hear retest requests. But I can't risk a violation because the stupid thing gets too hot and won't let me test.

I CAN'T be the only one having this problem lately right?
