Hi everyone,

I have very light blonde hair and have been bleaching it for 15 years. I’d like to get my hair into better condition and start using henna. However, I’m undecided because I’ve read comments claiming it dries out the hair significantly and coats the cuticle, meaning that with repeated use, treatments like masks and oils can no longer penetrate the hair shaft.

I read that some lost their hair du to henna.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on using henna in the long run—thanks so much! 😊
