Is there a book you love for a different reason than the one you see people mentioning often?

Sometimes I read books and end up liking it for things that don’t have to do much with the plot. I recently read a celebrity romance, and even though I love those types of stories,I ended up liking the way the main couple were really touchy and tender with one another. My loving the story barely had anything to do with the plot.

A bit confused….

So do I still count as agnostic if I say I’m like 90% sure there is no god and it’s just a bunch of man made tales, yet I still think some paranormal /spiritual things do exist. Maybe astrological as well I don’t know for sure of course.

Orange is the new black?

Please recommend books similar to this iconic sapphic hit show! (Set in prison or starring an ex convict) I just re read the Ice and Angel series by Susanne Beck and I wanna read more like that.

Spice girls

I just saw a clip of Geri and Mel B back in the 2000s and remembered something happened between them.I believe their story could be interpreted as doomed yuri. Does anyone know a book like that? Members of the SAME girl group who fall in love? 👀

Mine is Debra Flores! Her prose is beautiful. The characters she creates are so vivid, and her storytelling is just brilliant all around. I wish her books were recommended more often. wbu guys? Who's your fav?

Is there any fanfic trope that you would like to see more of in sapphic books?

I like the soulmates trope (with the soulmate mark thing. But I’ve only seen one or two books with that trope. Also,I’m not quite sure if this is a trope but I love the main character meets love interest in a rehab center (full of angst and they fall in love amidst tragedy)

What's a book you were enjoying, but ended up disliking because it has a man interrupting/ruining things between the main characters?

I'm curious. I can deal with another woman causing some trouble, but I try to stay away from books that have men involved in the plot.
