I don’t like commuting so find ways to amuse myself, like giving hyperbolic nicknames to sections of the roads I travel. I think in L.A there’s part of one freeway called the Orange Crush, and that’s the general idea. Here in Omaha there’s an interchange between highway 680 and I80 where traffic can slow from 70mph to almost zero with little warning. I call it The Chokehold.
