Bought Puma LaFrance Wolf shoes on Depop and received lotion instead

I honestly can’t believe this happened.
I bought a pair of Puma LaFrance Wolf shoes on Depop. When the package arrived, I picked it up from the post office and opened it immediately after getting to my car. Instead of the shoes, there was a bottle of lotion inside the box.
I took photos right away while I was still parked outside the post office so I’d have proof that I didn’t switch anything. I also kept the box, packing paper, shipping label, and the lotion, and I opened a dispute with Depop requesting a full refund.
Has anyone else had this happen? Did Depop refund you, and how long did the process take? Any advice on what else I should do to strengthen my case would be appreciated.

Title: Jordan 5 “Black Metallic” — How to Tell if They’re Fake? Need Help

Post:
I just picked up a pair of Jordan 5 Black Metallics from someone who claimed they’re 100% legit, but I’m starting to have doubts. I already paid, so I’m trying to figure out what I should look for to confirm if they’re real or fake.
For anyone experienced with Jordans or sneaker authentication, what are the main things I should check on this pair?
So far I’ve heard about checking:
Tongue shape and 3M reflective material (fakes usually look off or too dull)
Nike Air heel logo placement and stitching quality
Midsole paint job (especially the shark teeth design)
Sole color and translucency
Inside tag / size label font and spacing
Box label and SKU matching the shoe
If anyone has the Black Metallic 5s, what are the dead giveaways you’ve seen on fakes vs real pairs?
I can post pics if needed. Just trying to make sure I didn’t get played after being told they were legit.

If you want, I can also help you  make a “legit check” checklist tailored specifically to your pair or even  look at photos and break it down for you.
