she had so much angst and was in that annoying teenage phase and slightly depressed. That album felt like it was trying to be edgy and had a front and came off slightly immature. It felt like scrolling too far back to your teenage pictures on facebook.
HMHAS, there was an ease to it cuz she had matured and her ideas are fully formed. By the time I was aware of Billie I was already in my mid 20s and I could not relate to that album, despite it being amazing production wise.
