Festool Ctc Sys Vac with new 4.0 Tabless Batteries
Ok, ctc sys vac is pretty brand spanking new, the older 4.0s I used were maybe 30 charge cycles in and I just ran it with the hose on. Beep 1 at 10:37, beep 2 at 11:35, final beep at 11:51 (but I realize I think it kept going for a bit at a very low rate, but I didnt clock the final 'off' time.)
The batteries were "overheated" when I took them out according to the festool app.
TBX 11:47, 12:22, 12:32. So, a bit of an improvement in run time, and maybe it had fuller suction the whole duration, but nothing mind blowing. Also, they did feel decently warm, but they did not "overheat" and they started charging right away when I put them on the duo charger. Also, I went right from charging the tbxs to running them.. they may fair a bit better if they had sat at 100% and cooled for a bit, though I'm not sure how warm they get just charging.
That is all! Would love some kind of plug it adapter for this vac as I do really like the form factor, but the runtime can be a bit restrictive. Even with extra sets of batteries you still have the hassle of switching them out.
