I’m using an M4 Air with 24GB

This is the footage I just recorded. I’ve turned off all mods, set the resolution to 1920*1200, environment textures to medium, capped the frame rate at 60, and set object and grass draw distances to low. It doesn’t usually stutter this badly, but it’s pretty much like this most of the time. There are frame drops when rotating the camera, and slight lag when switching floors.

FOR M*C USERS

(It won't even let me post if I put "Mac" in the title.)I get that performance issues might be a major concern and the devs want us to report them directly, but I still want to be able to talk about the gameplay experience with other players.

With so many patches out already, have any Mac users actually noticed any performance improvements? Overheating is pretty much given for thin and light laptops, so no complaints there. But the game is getting laggier and laggier, even with all my mods turned off.

The performance optimization phase is coming to an end, and they're starting to add new gameplay content. Honestly, I'm really worried the game will just get laggier and laggier with future updates.

mods

I deleted the files under Paralives/Paralives following the official instructions to fix my save file issue, and my saves were successfully restored. However, the new Paralives directory didn’t regenerate after deletion, leaving me with no folder to place my mods. Is there any solution for this?

sos

I’m losing my mind! My 90-hour game save file is completely gone, everything’s back to the starting screen, and I didn’t do anything to cause this.

optimize

I think the game should focus on performance optimization right now, while enhancing lighting and shadow effects and refining item details. For example, round objects have overly sharp edges, which look rough. There are also major issues with the lighting and shadows, making buildings appear rather flat. Besides, items lack rich color tones — many solid-colored objects look like they only have a single shade. Just my personal opinion.
