Pixel watch 5 ECG always inconclusive

I've literally never gotten an actual reading aside when I put it on my knee which came back regular sinus rhythm. (Read that in some post)

Anyone know why? Or what's going on

Pretty hot today. The ladies are feeling it.

I've only had them for a year and I don't think I've seen bearding to this extent yet. Where they're actually hanging down off each other. Pretty cool to see.

Treating our bees with apiguard as we doing mites. Is this normal?

[VA] it's hot here so we've been using half a tin. Just want to make sure this is normal behavior. We've seen a bunch of mites on our bottom board but today when I checked I found like 6 live bees which I've never seen down there. They're all congregating on the side of the hive and front porch. Everything cosure? This is my second year and have never treated for mites until now.

[VA] Found varroa mite during post inspection photos

Im in Virginia and I'm fairly new to bee keeping. This is my 2nd year.

I have a few problems going on.

1 is the presence of a varroa mite on a drone. We've never seen them before and have never treated the hive for them. Maybe that liquid that's supposed to help them clean.

  1. We left a frame out (middle) and the bees seemed to make a frame or merge 2 of the frames. This is where I've always found the queen. We were afraid to ruin so many brood cells and contimplated leaving it. Now with the presence of varroa im thinking we may need to destroy that section of comb so we can inspect each individual frame?

Any advice is appreciated. I'll include one picture of the mite and one picture of the merged frames.

This is just normal bearding correct?

Located in southern Virginia. (New to beekeeping since last year) This is my hives second year. Everything seems healthy inside. Stray hive beetle but the queen and colony survived their first winter 🙌🏻

I thought the numbers would be a little higher than they are but wanted to double check that this is just business as usual.

Edit: AI says this is "washboarding" as opposed to bearding. What do you guys think?

Is there a way to fix video compression when "previewing" the post?

Uploaded a very dark video of bioluminescence. When I click on the video and open it in insta it's high quality but if I'm just scrolling it's compressed to hell. Is there a way to fix this or is this just a built in feature of Instagram? Like if someone is just scrolling there's no way they're clicking for higher quality because it looks like straight up potato quality.

I have the setting set to upload the highest quality even if it takes longer.

Edit: I'm on a Pixel if that makes any difference.

Id rather it didn't even show the preview of the insanely compressed video and make people open it to view it if that's possible
