Lead cash
does anyone else hate or feel frustrated with being a full time lead cashier? I honestly don’t even think it should be a position at this point. The tasks we have to get done are overwhelming & almost impossible to do seeing as we’re expected to be on register 24/7. Schedules are never consistent, we have to drive sales, manage breaks, coach employees, authorize in the middle of our transactions, not allowed to have water, deal with rude customers, push events, manage gwps/gwp lists, use MPOS, hop on bopis all while being paid dog crap & micromanaged and under valued
edit: I also hate the fact that we are the only position expected to be working 24/7 and have to stay in the same spot for our whole shift. I’m sure somewhere in the business model of this position they could have let us GEL for a portion of our shift or allocate time for us to get our paperwork done while still being able to authorize for employees
