Chandler / Schwartz Phone Call

I recently looked over the transcript of the phone call recorded between Evan Chandler and Dave Schwartz on July 9, 1993. In my opinion, this is the most important piece of contemporaneous evidence from the entire 1993 investigation. It is worth noting that this call was recorded BEFORE his son would allegedly confess to abuse. Some notable quotes I picked out:

Chandler: “There are other people involved that are waiting for my phone call that are intentionally going to be in certain positions - I paid them to do it. They’re doing their job.” (Who is Chandler referring to here and for what purpose would he have paid these unnamed people?)

Chandler: “I have the evidence….it cost me thousands, tens of thousands to get the information I got.” (What evidence is Chandler referring to here and why was it never produced during the investigation?)

Chandler: “Because June and Jordy and Michael have forced me to take it to the extreme to get their attention. How pitiful, pitifuckingful they are to have done that” (This is quite a bizarre thing to say - it seems throughout the call that Evan’s main gripe is that he has been ignored and that is his real issue. It reads like HE is the true victim in all this. Interesting that he refers to June, Jordy and MJ as one united front too).

Chandler: “My instructions were to kill and destroy … and by killing and destroying, I’m going to torture them, Dave… because that’s what June has done to me.” (This quote seems so cartoonishly villainous - like a child who has been rejected and is lashing out).

Chandler: “The best thing for Jordy would be for everybody to sit there and peaceably resolve amongst themselves.” (It was very generous of Chandler to offer to sit down and negotiate with the man he claims abused his son. Are these the actions of a protective parent? Why would he bring his son face to face with his supposed abuser to negotiate?).

What do you all make of this transcript?

If MJ was truly guilty, why agree to the strip search in 1993?

My question is as above. If MJ was guilty of that original accusation in 1993, then why would he have agreed to the strip search rather than fighting it? Indeed in his statement from Neverland that aired a few days later, he states that it was a humiliating ordeal but if it was necessary to prove his innocence, ‘so be it.’

If justice could truly be bought, why wouldn’t he have paid the Chandlers off prior to the search in December 1993 and therefore avoided the whole ordeal? What is the explanation from those who believe he was guilty?

Ex-Employees

I was thinking about the disgruntled ex-employees who claimed to have witnessed abuse. If we take their accounts to be true, why weren’t these people held accountable for witnessing such things and never doing anything about it? They didn’t report to police/parents etc, they didn’t intervene. Just witnessed abuse, turned a blind eye, and then cashed in on what they had ‘seen’ when it became convenient for them.

For example, individuals like Adrian McManus and Kassim Abdool (of the Neverland 5) did depositions and signed declarations stating they had never seen anything inappropriate. However, following the settlement in 1994 they would then reverse course to sell stories to tabloids and file frivolous lawsuits (which the Neverland lost, subsequently owing MJ $1.6 million in damages). This would mean they perjured themselves to cover up for a pedo which is morally reprehensible (not to mention, a crime).

You also had Blanca Francia who netted 20k selling a story to Hard Copy following the Chandler scandal in 1993. Francia would recant under oath what she had ‘seen‘ several times, most recently in her 2016 deposition.

Why on earth were these people never held to account? Instead people like Adrian McManus to this day, receive payment from the press to sell lurid stories which are taken at face value. At the very least they should have been charged with perjury. I also wonder why the posthumous accusers don’t sue them?

Coaching Claims

One thing I find particularly interesting when looking into the allegations are the claims of coaching. I’ve noticed that the claims of intensive coaching are exclusive to the posthumous accusers (Robson/Safechuck/Cascios). Chandler never mentioned anything about being coached/rehearsed in his allegations, neither did Francia or Arvizo.

What you have with the posthumous accusers are claims that they were individually rehearsed and told exactly what to say and not to say by MJ to prepare them for any potential police investigation. I find the Cascio claims of this particularly incredible as MJ would somehow have needed to get all 5 siblings one on one to subject them to this brainwashing - which they say turned them into his little ‘soldiers’ - without any of the other siblings (or parents) knowing.

Why do you think there is this clear delineation between the 3 individuals who accused MJ in his lifetime, as compared to the posthumous accusers?

Star Arvizo’s disappearing allegation

Star Arvizo originally claimed that he had been inappropriately touched in a golf cart. This accusation is outlined in the probable cause document for MJ’s arrest in November 2003, with Star going on to repeat this claim to the grand jury. However, MJ was never charged with this alleged act and by the time of the trial this allegation had disappeared entirely. In Star‘s testimony at trial, he was never asked about being touched and no reference to this claim was ever made again.

My question is why the prosecution neglected to pursue this allegation? They were so desperate to convict that they were willing to claim others were abused (Culkin, Barnes, Robson) despite all claiming the opposite at the time, and yet they had a child right in front of them making an accusation and they refrain from charging MJ? Has anyone from the prosecution ever explained this?

External Factors Motivating each Accusation

Hi all, I was thinking of the circumstances behind each accusation. In my opinion, no accusation seems to have originated organically, rather they all seem to have been motivated by external factors. It is important to note that every accuser started out by saying nothing untoward happened, only to then reverse course.

Chandler - would he have made an accusation if his father did not originally ‘suspect’ abuse and badger him into making a confession?

Francia - would he have made an accusation if police did not lie to him and badger him during the Chandler investigation?

Arvizo - would he have made an accusation if the Bashir doc and resulting media frenzy never happened?

Robson - would he have made an accusation if he had not been experiencing career troubles at the time?

Safechuck - would he have made an accusation if Robson never came out / he and his family were never sued?

Cascios - would they have made an accusation if LN never happened?

What are your thoughts.
