What Do I Study to write “classical sounding” Music?

I want to write neoclassical metal, but am unsure of what to do to make “classical sounding”music, what I want to learn the most is the harmony of it, and what I can do harmonically to make it sound classical. I have a pretty solid music theory grounding but just do not know much about what gives classical music its sound and how to emulate that.

Looking for traditional chinese books and resources for learning

I want to learn about traditional chinese music and other than transcription, what good resources are there for learning, I learn a lot from transcription, but have heard things like traditional chinese pitch collections and it’s getting pretty confusing without any definitive resource for learning about it

How do I get better at transcription

I have recently been trying to learn how to transcribe, but due to how many voices there are at once, it is incredibly hard to find out what every single thing is doing, are there any good exercises for being able to distinguish and find out chord voicing and being able to focus on what one single voice is doing, because doing it is very hard with strings sections and other instruments sometimes too.

Feedback on an analysis

I did a harmonic analysis of Believe Me (Piano) from Stein’s Gate, and would like feedback on if I made mistakes, as I’m fairly sure I made many. Sometimes the analysis was done weirdly, such as changing the quality of the roman numeral analysis to III instead of iii, due to the third changing, I don’t know what to notate there, and I already started in RN analysis before I finished so I just did that.

Music analysis question

Was trying to analyze this piece and the harmony in the third measure is confusing, is anyone able to help explain it in terms of the chords, I don’t know what chords they are. Thank you to anyone who may help in advance!

Question on studying

I have been reading Caplin’s “Analyzing Classical Form”, and there is so much information, and feel as though I should memorize every single thing, but I worry my methods are wrong and my approach is wrong. I try taking notes from every page but worry I am wasting too much time, and wonder if it is unrealistic to learn every single thing. Does anyone have any advice on how I should approach it, previously studying music theory I’ve used youtube and blog posts and stuff, but now that I’m reading an actual book, the way the information is given is slower and maybe I’m just being weird about it. But yeah, this may seem like an extremely dumb question I just want the thoughts of others on how to approach learning music theory and the best way to retain the information. To anyone who may respond, thank you so much! Whenever I have a question on this subreddit, people give me amazing answers and you guys have helped me so much!!

What is the name of the percussion instrument used here?

It is there throughout most of the piece, but at this point it is isolated. I know this is probably a rather stupid question, but the mixing seems super strong to me and I can't seem to recognize it, and I really really want to find out to use it.

here is the song: storm
