My very first hand-embroidery!

I'm a cross-stitch lass but didn't have any idea on what to do for my brother's birthday that would not take AGES. And my ADHD doesn't allow me to plan things in advance 🤣

So I had the idea to do a small embroidery piece from a picture of him and my niece and I really loved how it turned out.

I don't understand the long and short stitch that well but I'm ready to continue to try more stuff. This was really fun to do!

I'll probably get a kit though to learn some stitches and understand the craft a bit better before doing another custom project 😅

Widow's bay finale - embroidery cross-over

So I've been OBSESSED with the Apple TV show Widow's bay. A comedy horror show that is just amazing television. Really one of the best thing that I watched in the past 10 years.

And low and behold, in the finale there's a bunch of embroidery pieces that I now REALLY want to make and will have to hunt for patterns (or make em).

If anyone has any sources / ideas on how to replicate them and what I could use in existing patterns I'm all ears.
