My new neighbor is 10 yo and plays the trumpet. He's never heard of ska so I thought I share some gentler introductory songs that are heavy on the brass. No Link 80 type stuff, they're a pretty straight family. Cheers!

My partner has just proposed a spring holiday idea of flying into Queenstown for a few days and then visiting Milford. Q fills me with horror.
I've countered this idea with flying into ChCh for a few days (we left after the earthquake and have never been back) and then taking a rental through Otago, stay in some cool towns and find some snow (daughter has never touched snow). We're thinking 10 days.
