Am I just too slow for the bakery
this is my first time working at coles, I'm 25 and i do consider myself as general slow learning. And ive recently started working at the bakery department, and right off the bat i was thrown into learning everything from packing to date coding to baking. I've been working for more than a month now and i've been getting a handle of everything that goes on at the bakery. But I still cant seem to catch up with my workmates, and i feel so awful that i take so much time from them. I ask how long it takes for my workers to slice the bread, and it generally takes them 15-20 minutes for each baking tray. but everytime i time myself, it always takes me up to 30+ minutes. my manager used usher me to work faster whenever they give me a task, but now they've stopped. so im wondering if theyve just given up and im worried that my workmates r just gonna slowly get bitter with me over time or worse.
