I feel like they could have her mentioning someone to lean into her character development of her leading her own life as a caregiver which would be cool to see but am wondering others predictions ✨

Do we think Laurel disapproved that belly got with Jere at the end of season 2? After the infamous slap we see them find common ground so I wonder what laurels thoughts were and what a scene of belly telling Laurel abt them getting together would look like.
Also I wonder how much the movie will make comments abt the almost Jelly wedding haha

Olivia Rodrigo and TSITP are my two obsessions. Disclaimer I haven’t fully digested “..girl so in love” but these are my initial thoughts on how the songs remind of TSITP ships

“Maggots for brains” and “what’s wrong with me”
- Season 3 Jelly: belly keeps saying she just needs to be in person with Jere (to stop thinking about Conrad). She feels lost without Jere, but she really has lost herself while she’s WITH Jere…

“Drop dead”
- lowkey I could imagine the instrumental in the background of Belly and Benito, even though the lyrics don’t match their story. The first date subject matter reminds me of them because Benito is belly’s first love interest she hasn’t known since childhood so he’s very exciting

“Begged”
- season 2 Bonrad: this is close to how belly feels about Conrad, or maybe even the reverse. Conrad is protecting her innocence “I’m patient, you’re learning, pretend it’s not hurting”

Expectations
- this has Taylor written all over it. Maybe even the bachelorette party scene it could’ve been something like this and not something so on the nose like girl so confusing

I will probably have more once I finish my second listen but was wondering if anyone had thoughts!

Currently listening to the “It’s Not Summer Without You” audiobook (season/book 2). I’m not usually someone who disagrees with a TV shows being different from books, but I really wish the show gave us evidence of Conrad not being committed/good to Belly. Overall, I am team Conrad, however in the show Conrad saying “don’t worry about prom I’ll take care of everything” vs. the books where he almost lets her go with another guy and they’re more of an “it’s complicated” situation rather than a couple makes Belly going to Jere a lot more understandable. However, I like how in the show Belly is so hurt by Conrad indifference because she loves him so much vs. where Jere gets a pass because she doesn’t feel for him the same way.

I fear I may be reheating nachos with this one lol 🤣 haven’t visited the sub in a while

Don’t mind the self censoring haha! Upon my season 3 rewatch, I’ve noticed how Jeremiah seems to keep saying how he’s “busting his ass” At the internship with his dad, and eventually belly says it too. I think belly is the only one who will at least pretend to take him seriously, since he’s the nepo bb at the office. Also him affirming this to her quells his guilt abt him not helping with wedding planning.
