Interview tips !

Hello fellow labers,

I have an upcoming interview in a chemistry start-up that is going to be 2 hours long. They will give me some "case-studies" that I should discuss on...The position covers chromatographic, separation and isolation techniques and also some structure elucidation.

Have you ever had any interviews like this ? Any comments and tips much appreciated :)

Job hunting = PAIN

I am actively looking for a job for about 6 months now. My studies are in Pharmaceutical/Chemistry industry (not an Apothekerin though). It is so hard to land interviews even though I do speak German. Also the interviewing process is extremely slow and demanding, emotionally and mentally draining.

Is anyone working in the field right now ? I know that the current job market is awful and hard for everyone out there BUT I don't know what else to do to find a job anymore and it makes me feel so unworthy.

Any help will be much much appreciated!

Hello all!

Pretty much what the title says...the job market is shit and so are my feelings...

I have been trying to find a job for 5 months, also moved countries and trying to survive in general. I only got 2 interviews, with one of them, giving me extreme anxiety because it mattered very much. I was having panic attacks just thinking about it and after two rounds of interviewing, it resulted in a total "gaslighting" experience.

I am feeling lost and depressed, losing hope day by day. Sometimes I think that I want to just lay in bed away from everything and everyone and stop trying because the whole process, it doesn't lead anywhere. Do you also struggle with landing a job and feeling hopeless/without any confidence for the present and future ?
