48 Hours Post RALP
Just a brief note for people about to go through it.
Surgery wrapped up in around 3 hours. I'm pretty stiff and sore but no major disasters. I have a transpubic catheter I'm still getting used to and after 2 days finally managed a poop!
Surgeon was able to save nerves on entire left side, but needed to take most of the right. Will just to wait and see what's left I guess.
All in all I feel pretty good. Relieved to have it out and one big step.closer to cancer free.
