need help to find a routine & lose weight

hello this is my first time posting on the sub and i’d really appreciate it if anyone can help point me in the right direction.

i am 20 y.o F, i weight 180 lbs as of now and i am 5ft tall. i got bariatric surgery (gastric sleeve) back in 2023. before surgery i weighed 292 lbs. my lowest was 167lbs back in march of 2025. i know i gained weight after my two grandparents passed it was a very hard emotional time for me.

my bf is someone who really loves the gym. will go for 2 hrs, 6 days a week and he lost almost 50 lbs in a few months. he does try to help me in the gym but i feel at times i do not understand what to do or how to do something. i go to planet fitness and it sounds silly but i have very bad anxiety when i go alone to the gym and end up staying for only 45 mins maybe up to an hour

my goal is to be 160 lbs and eventually down to 130 lbs. i’ve done some research about calorie deficits but was wondering if anyone could help with that. as well as a beginner gym split and help staying motivated. i really appreciate any help!
