Just had a deroofing done on Wednesday. I had three major spots under each of my armpits that healed horrifically and caused me pain, and my derm recommended surgery. Now that I’m three days post deroofing I looked at my open incisions and I cried. I’m so fucking happy. I have little to no pain, and while they look scary now I can see how they will heal and I can finally imagine wearing tank tops again. I know it’s early days and I have a journey ahead but damn, the actual excitement I feel right now was overwhelming.
