Where can I find journalism internships for international applicants?

Hi! I’m a Master’s student from Ukraine looking for advice. Does anyone know of any paid journalism or broadcasting internships, fellowships, or graduate programs that accept international applicants? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Looking for journalism opportunities covering Ukraine

Hey!
Does anyone know of any internships, fellowships, organizations, or editors looking for early-career journalists covering Ukraine or Eastern Europe? I’d really appreciate any recommendations or contacts. Thanks!

Need advice: Already finishing a Master’s abroad, but not ready for a PhD. What are my options in the US?

Hi everyone,
I’m from Ukraine and really need an advice.
I have a BA in Journalism and I’m currently finishing my Master’s. I also have a background in choreography, but journalism is the field I really want to build my career in.

My long-term goal is to move to the US for finding a job there and as I’ve been told, the easiest way to get there is by student visa.
I’ve talked to a few professors in the US, and they all said that doing another Master’s probably isn’t the best idea since I’ll already have one. They suggested that a PhD communication would be the next logical step.
The thing is, I don’t feel ready for a PhD. I don’t want to commit to several years of research unless I’m sure it’s the right choice.

Is there another path I’m missing? Would a second Master’s in a different field make sense? Is there any way to combine my journalism background with dance or arts, or should I focus entirely on journalism?

I’d really appreciate any advice
Thanks!

Need advice: Already finishing a Master’s abroad, but not ready for a PhD. What are my options in the US?

Hi everyone,
I’m from Ukraine and I really need an advice.
I have a BA in Journalism and I’m currently finishing my Master’s. I’d like to move to the US, either to study or work, and I’m trying to figure out the best path
I talked to a few professors in the US, and they basically told me that doing another Master’s might not be worth it, since I’ll already have one. They said a PhD in Communication would make more sense academically.
But honestly, I don’t feel ready for a PhD yet. I’m interested in research, but I don’t have a strong research agenda yet.
So I’m wondering what should I do? Is a second Master’s in the US a bad idea, or can it still make sense? Are there other options I should look into?
Thanks a lot!
