2008 Prius base, 122k miles

Hello fellow mechanics I need some advice or confirmation. I just did the brakes on my 2008 Prius (2nd gen, 122k miles) for the first time. I noticed that the hardware is two different types and one piece of the hardware has a "lip" on it while the other doesn't. I'm kind of confused if this is acceptable or if one is specifically designed for the top or the bottom of the caliper. On every other car I have ever done brakes both hardware were identical. It's driving my OCD crazy please give me feedback.
(The photo is of the bottom hardware with the "lip" section indicated by the red arrow. The top hardware does not have this section and appears to be standard looking hardware)
