When lights away. . .

The babies come out to play!

Added green water to the tank to help them grow.

Excuse the glare but it was taken via phone flash as the power was out due to storm

Cory bedazzlement

Miss Corinthea the 2nd and her suitors have been busy this morning.

Common mistake with corys and other catfish is that the females get stressed by the males.

They are not live bearers, catfish have some of the best sensory organs in fish the males only attempt to breed when the female is giving off hormonal signals.

Having too many females on the other hand can and will stress out male corys or similar catfish like bristlenose.

As the constant breeding comes at the cost of not eating or other energy expenses like raising fry in the case of the bristlenose.
