My partner and I were looking for rings the other day just checking out jewellers and I've wanted a kind of nature inspired ring forever, I walked past this one in the window and just said oh I really like this and it was the only one I actually did like.

I said it would be cool to find a ring that looked like this on the sides and have a centre stone but I also just keep going back to it and wondering if I like it the way it is without a center stone but I'm worried I would regret not getting a more traditional looking ring.

I'm also worried its ugly and I just can't see that its ugly because I like it but it's objectively ugly I'm not sure I'm overthinking it please tell me your thoughts.

Don't get me wrong building more homes is important but that will take a very long time to achieve when there are things they can impose right now that would help ?

If we banned Air Bnb, imposed a massive vacancy tax that made it financially impossible to have a vacant property or a holiday home you use once a year and introduced a minimum rental term of 3 months, shouldn't that flood the market with properties for rent and sale and bring all the prices down ?

The estimated numbers on a rough search

Vacant homes = 140,000

Air bnb = 170,000

Holiday homes = 500,000

That's so many properties someone could be living in full time that can't.

Im not an expert and don't really know much about anything so please let me know why this wouldn't work.

Thoughts on rings without center stone ?

There are so many vacant/holiday and air bnb properties in Australia why is the main push building more and not utilising what we have ?
