He was fine yesterday but today he wasn’t normal. I drove him to the vet where they found a wire he was trying to pass but it pierced his bumhole. He was sedated and it was removed. X-rays confirm no other pieces inside him. We are home and he’s out of it but in pain. He has an antibiotic, probiotic and pain meds. Poor buddy has had a traumatic day and no idea where the wire came from.
His redneck pool has the mustard algae 😩😩😩🫣 so we are working on it but in the meantime he was misted with water and had the battery-powered fan
I tried all my regular tricks and nothing. I’m 52 years old and this ain’t fun.

We thought this was our redneck pool but he has officially claimed it as his. Can hardly keep him out. I bought steps for the inside bc I just knew he’d die if we didn’t have them. He walk/swims all around. Such a goofball.

Finally! My surgery will be scheduled when I get the call but I’m so excited to be whoosh-free. As you can see in the image I have nearly no bone on the right side and have a diverticulum (see arrow). Makes for a whoosh amphitheater.
