The VAT’s The Problem campaign is calling on the Government to reduce hospitality VAT from 20% to 10%, bringing the UK more into line with countries such as France, Spain and Italy, where lower rates help businesses invest, grow and create jobs.

This year sees the return of the Wetherspoon craft cider festival which will be running from Friday 31 July to Sunday 9 August.
The 10-day event will feature up to 15 ciders from 15 producers across the southwest and beyond.
Whether you’re a traditionalist who likes to stick to a classic apple cider or you have a penchant for something a bit fruitier, you are sure to find an option to tickle your taste buds.
As always, we will be keeping our fingers and toes crossed for some good weather during the event. If you do manage to find a perch in one of our gardens, why not use the Wetherspoon app which allows you to order food and drinks to your table?
You can download it from the App Store/Google Play or simply scan the QR code on your table.
Tasting notes on all of the ciders will be available in pubs. Alternatively, they can be downloaded here and are also available on the Wetherspoon app.
Allergen information about all of the featured ciders can be found on the customer information screen, website (by searching for a pub here) and Wetherspoon app.

Tasting notes on all of the featured beers will be available in the pub as part of the festival magazine (with a digital version available on the Wetherspoon app and website). Festival tasting notes.
