Found in Michigan, United States. Appears to be made of brass or bronze. The wide end has a small hole, it is threaded inside. Narrow end also has a hole, does not appear to be threaded. The square on the narrow end is not 1/4" drive, it's a little larger. Any ideas?
My dermatologist told me that I'm at a higher risk for skin cancer, now that I am flying quite a bit as a CFI, I want to protect myself from the sun as much as possible. Also I don't like sunscreen.
As a student, would you be weirded out if your CFI wore burqa (think a dress that covers your head too)?
I got this Outbacker Antenna with a lot of equipment I bought. It appears to be an 80 - 10 meter model. It didn't come with a mount and the company doesn't appear to have any manuals on their website. I would like to use this antenna to try doing POTA from my vehicle. I don't intend to drive the vehicle with the antenna installed. Any suggestions on what sort of mount would work with this? If there's something magnetic that would be fantastic as I might want to be able to use a couple different vehicles for it. I'm not sure how the ground plane works for this type of antenna.

I recovered this on a farm property in Michigan, United States. It seems like solid metal, threads at one end. It has layers of rust Iike it has been in the ground for a long time. Any guesses?

Came with a lot of SK equipment I bought today. I thought it was cool.
I'm a metal detectorist and found this while digging for a target. It is from an old farmhouse site in Michigan, United States. Any information on it would be appreciated. Thanks!
Does anyone know the origin of the name of Dryer VOR? That's one I can't figure out. Most of them that aren't obvious have a small town nearby with the same name. I've looked at current maps and old maps of the area and I can't find anything.
From what I can tell this is from the late 60s to mid 70s. Found on a family property in Michigan. One of the uncles in that family apparently made the most of that era.
