My father got diagnosed with COPD..

I feel soo sad.

I know 2 people with COPD:

- 1 died

- the other is constantly on edge with a breathing machine.

I dont want my father to suffer like this.

Everytime when im alone and i think about these people and relate it to my father, i just get a lump in my throat and tears would be rolling down my face.

My father is a smoke addict and i noticed that everytime when he is in an environment with people he likes, he smokes at least 1 cigarette per 15 minutes.

When he is bussy with something, he does 1 cigarette every 2 hours.

So every Sunday i will try to do something with him to keep him bussy.

But for the days that i cannot do something, how should i cope with this pain?
I wake up every morning and think about death and the breathing machine and then would just tear up.

And even more important: now that i realise i do still have time with my father, how should i use this time as effective as possible?
