Han Table Barbeque Lisbon
Hi everyone
Just want to make sure other Lisbon visitors don‘t fall for the same trap as me.
We really wanted to eat korean bbq for my gf‘s birthday while in Lisbon. We saw the restaurant on google with more than 3000 reviews and 4.9 stars in total.
When we arrived, everything seemed great. We got our drinks and sides for the bbq (kimchi etc.). We ordered the australian wagyu a4 platter for 78€ which looked great. The plate arrived and we noticed that the meat was very cold (some pieces still kinda frozen) we startet grilling the meat and quickly realized it was frozen. After pointing it out to the staff, they were very friendly and tried to help us. Even after 3 attempts they didn‘t really understand that the problem was not the quality of the beef, but the fact that it was frozen. You can‘t bbq frozen beef , i mean you can, but it doesn‘t taste like it should.
After paying for our drinks and the rice we had, we left very disappointed. As you can see in the attached screenshot they have great reviews but mostly 5stars (which we only realized afterwards). My guess is that the reviews are faked or bought. The ramen shop in the lower floor also has 4000+ reviews but all 5 stars..
I‘m posting this here to make sure no other redditors visiting lisbon are fooled by the great reviews on google. If you come to lisbon definetly don‘t go there. Beware!
