Need some help with my flip badge camera
Hi all, hope this is the right space to post this. I recently tried installing (as a complete noob on the matter) on my 2014 golf 7 the following components:
-Noname 5GD 035 280B head unit
I purchase both of them from the RCD330 website and emailed the owner before hand to make sure that everything was compatible both with my car and between each other.
After installation, everything worked fine for the head unit. For the flip badge camera, instead, i have encountered a problem: after connecting all the wires in what seemed to me as the correct way according to the guides, the badge opens fine and works as the boot opener, but the image doesn't seem to get to the head unit. When i put the car in reverse, i can hear the badge opening, but the head unit screen doesn't change in any way (for example, if i am currently on the media screen before putting in reverse, it stays on the media screen after putting in reverse and while being in reverse).
I think that the reverse camera function is not enabled on my head unit, despite being said in the description that it would be.
The only real doubt i have about the wiring is the position of the fuses, but other than that i am completely in the dark about what is wrong so here i am.
I will provide any photo necessary to the best of my capabilities and the same for any additional information you might need.
