I’m struggling a bit and could use some advice from people who have been in my shoes. I really want to start going to more EDM shows, but none of my friends listen to the music or want to go with me.

I’ve been wanting to see Martin Garrix in NY for a while, but when the time came, I completely chickened out. I have this huge insecurity about going alone; I’m terrified I’ll look out of place, feel left out, and won’t be able to mix with the vibe of the crowd.

Have any of you started your rave journey solo? Did you have these same fears, and how did you finally push past the anxiety to just go?
