Steveston Sandy
There is a woman going up and down Steveston, randomly approaching people and chatting them up suspiciously. She carries a little blonde toy poodle named Luna, and appears to also be on the phone (with a bald man who is always nearby, but keeps his distance).
I have been approached by her twice on opposite ends of Steveston, and she always asks very personal questions and then says she is a very anxious person, dragging on the conversation and following me as I walk my dog... or as my neighbour describes, "she just glomms onto you!"
Maybe I am super jaded and unfriendly living in GVRD, but i get a very bad vibe from her. Some of my neighbors have gotten together to discuss her antics because it is highly suspicious and we are all on high alert.
Has anybody else encountered her? Does anybody know her? Does she need help? Is she mentally ill? Or is she trying to steal voice samples for ai scams? (🤣)
