Need help

I've been having this issue with Among Us, and I've tried almost everything I can think of to fix it, but nothing has worked so far.

A few days ago, I logged into Among Us to play with my friends when I suddenly got this message:

«GOOGLE PLAY STORE ACCOUNT ERROR

Your Google Play account cannot be used to create an Among Us account due to the Google Play account's age restrictions.»

«You can continue playing Among Us on this device, but for your safety certain features will be be limited, including account linking, Star purchases, and transferring items to a new device. If you have any questions, please email support@innersloth.com

After that, everything on my account was gone. My level, username, cosmetics, Cosmicubes, friends list... everything disappeared.

I tried just about every fix I could find:

* Restarted my phone.

* Cleared the Google Play Store cache and data.

* Looked through Google Play settings for anything related to age restrictions.

* Tried using a different Google account.

* Reinstalled the game.

None of it worked.

Eventually, I contacted Innersloth Support and explained the situation, asking how I could either recover my account or create a new one without this age restriction. Unfortunately, their reply didn't really solve the problem.

The strange part is that the Google account linked to my Among Us account has had its birth date set to May 1, 2004 for around one or two years. That's why it doesn't make sense to me why I suddenly became age-restricted.

My actual age is 16, which I believe should still be old enough to have an Among Us account anyway.

This was the response I received from support:

«Hello Crewmate,

Thanks for writing in. I understand how frustrating it can be when you're unable to access your account.

It looks like you may be logged into a temporary account. This would explain why your level and cosmetics are missing. Please try the following steps:

  1. Double-check that you're using the correct email address that was originally linked to your Among Us account.

  2. Check your Google Play Games account (not Google Play Store) to ensure you're signed in with the right profile.

  3. Restart the game after confirming you're logged into the correct Google Play or platform account.

If you're still unable to log back in, regrettably, we cannot recover accounts. However, if you have proof of purchase in the form of receipts, we can assist you in restoring purchased items to a new account on the same platform and email address.

Unfortunately, I already tried those steps, and they didn't fix the issue.

If anyone has experienced something similar or knows a solution, I'd really appreciate your help.

* Phone: Xiaomi Poco X6 Pro

Even if I can't get my account back, I want a way that doesn't include restarting my phone completely to just...create a fresh account without that age restriction and building phrase thing.

Guys I need help

I don't know where else to ask this, but my Google account merged with my Among us account got age restricted for some reason (My google account's birth date is set in 2004 btw) and even tho my real age is 16, I think that's still legit for a game like this?

Anyways, it just happened out of nowhere, I got this long ahh massage when I opened Among us saying:

GOOGLE PLAY STORE ACCOUNT ERROR

Your Google Play account cannot be used to create an Among us account due to the Google play Account's age restriction

You can continue playing among us on this device....and absolute BULLSHIT

I don't know what the point of this is. And whatever I had just disappeared. My beans, my stuff, cosmicubes, lvl, stars, friends....and I genuinely want it to get my account back. I sent a request to them but I doubt they'll give a shit about it

If anyone knows a trick or whatever I'll appreciate it.
