I had the old Voicemod still installed until it logged me out and kept bringing me to a 404 website, but I was told to re-install vociemod on its newest version, I made sure to uninstall my old voicemod but my current VM is glitching out visually, like cliche glitching, and every so often I can see what looks like my "old" voicemod behind it? Like I catch a glimpse of the old UI and all my old custom voices that I, btw, no longer have access to since I had to upgrade to the newest VM.

Whenever a Microsoft Defender Antivirus update is pending, my entire PC starts freezing, stuttering, and lagging to the point that it's almost unusable.

Everything will be running perfectly fine, whether I'm drawing, playing games, talking on Discord, even the most minimal of things, and then out of nowhere the whole system starts choking. As soon as I check Windows Update, there's almost always a pending Microsoft Defender Antivirus update waiting to install...

I have automatic Windows Updates disabled because I don't want major updates interrupting gaming sessions or art commissions or any other projects, but this seems to happen before I even install anything. Just having the Defender update pending appears to tank system performance.

Initially I thought I was crazy, but I've since found other friends who've has similar behavior. My partner's PC (which is relatively new and much newer than mine) is experiencing the exact same thing, everything is smooth until a Defender update is pending, then the system suddenly starts stuttering.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is this a known Windows Defender issue, or is there something else I should be looking into??
