Has anyone tried these in USA?

Has anyone tried/reviewed these products?

Kind of a limited selection- just two kinds, one with two beef and one with two chicken mains for now, AFAIK. Apparently the ones with pork and fish main courses aren't being offered to the USA? (And no pickled quail eggs...)

US MREs, same old-same old...

Less than 72 hours using free delivery, can't complain about that.

$4.58 each, still cheaper than a Big Mac.

Chinese CIVILIAN MREs?

I have bought various cases of (cheap, 3 to 4 years old) US made MREs and freeze-dried camping meals in the past for job site, bailout bags and truck emergency "ditch" supplies. I'm not a collector or a connoisseur (though I might be tempted by the "Scottish cold weather ration").

Recently I picked up a box of Chinese coffee flavored "High Energy Bars" off of Amazon, 12 for $29 US$. As far as I can tell from correspondence with the manufacturer, a 120 gram package has about 84 mg. of Caffeine- Anecdotally, eating a package does turn off a caffeine withdrawal headache but doesn't give me tachycardia. Like a (not very sweet), crumbly dry coffee cookie, I've had worse.

While exchanging emails with factory trying to learn what caffeine content of the energy bars might be, they emailed me some product catalogues- And offered to send me samples of their MREs? See images of their PDF. Only two varieties were offered, they offer both a 1 day/2800 calorie ration with multiple entrees and a single meal/400 calories package. They claim to have FDA approval for US import and included related paperwork.

Has anyone ever tried these (non military) Chinese MRE products?

I've been to China several times and have imported container loads of Chinese products in the past but never imported FOOD from there. I love a good Chinese sit down restaurant but some of their packaged snacks were definitely an "acquired taste"🤮. BBQ duck feet? Salted chili flavored guppy sized dry fish?!

Thoughts about these? The rep wants me to pay for airmail shipping of a sample, I'm considering

"A strange game, the only way to win is not to play "

Will the politicians world view catch up with that of the originating physicists in time?

““You can’t have this kind of war,” Eisenhower concluded. “There just aren’t enough bulldozers to scrape the bodies off the streets. “ It followed, and follows, that there is no military solution to safety in the nuclear age: There are only political solutions. As the Danish physicist and philosopher Niels Bohr summarized the dilemma succinctly for a friend in 1948, “We are in an entirely new situation that cannot be resolved by war.” The impossibility of resolving militarily the new situation that knowledge of how to release nuclear energy imposes on the world is the reason the efforts on both sides look so desperate and irrational: They are built on what philosophers call a category mistake, an assumption that nuclear explosives are military weapons in any meaningful sense of the term, and that a sufficient quantity of such weapons can make us secure. They are not, and cannot.”

Has the Carrey Sublette Nuclear Weapons FAQ been deleted or hidden from Google & etc.?

I was attempting to provide a link to the Nuclear Weapons FAQ to a discussion on the Trump administration decision to turn over 20 metric TONS of weapons grade Pu-239 to five private industry companies- Oklo, Standard Nuclear, SHINE Technologies, Flibe Energy, and Exodys Energy

https://substack.com/home/post/p-199630082

Google doesn't admit to knowing a live link to the FAQ?!
