I have been writing my novel by hand for 48 days.

I've also completed three short fictions and two flash in that time.

The ink has run dry.

Trees have been arboricided for my needs.

My hand cramps constantly -- I think I'm getting carpal tunnel.

Twenty-two plastic pens, non-biodegradable, will end up in the belly of a sea turtle.

At the end of each day I transcribe the words to a libreoffice document because my handwriting cannot be scanned.

One editor asks: Why did you send me an .odt file format?

Answer: Because my second-hand office surplus Thinkpad I got for $100 only runs Linux. PS: I write by hand, gangster style
