Does the CV or tie rod look bad to you?

Hi all

I've got a pretty decent 2013 Cooper SD (N47), but the miles are getting up there (about 118k)...

Im none the wiser if any of the previous owners have ever changed the timing chain...

Does anyone have any experience changing these?

Is it worth even touching if nothing sounds off yet?

As shown in the picture.... I have a battery cell imbalance that I just cannot sort....

Does anyone have any suggestions...?
