Getting into taekwondo at 33?

The title sums it up, i am looking to start a martial art, i have never done any but have done sports in the past. Sadly since covid ive let myself go a bit and i have recentlt started taking care of myself again.

Is it a good idea to start at 33 if im overweight too, i am looking to discipline myself, have fun and get healthier/lose weight

Question regarding age gap

Hi, me (M31) have worked 3 years ago as a TA at my university in the US. I was TA for the Korean exchange students and it was at that place where i met this girl, almost 10 years younger than me.

We were forbidden to get too close to the students as we were in a position of power which is normal and fine. Anyways fast forward to the end of their studies and she had to go back, i went to see them off at the airport.

The girl in question hugged me, started crying in my arms because she didnt want to leave and made me promise to go see her in korea, which at the time i agreed.

But in the meantime i had met someone so i didnt reach out to her at all, fast forward to now, i am single and i reached out. Shes telling me how happy she is that i did, how she never forgot about me and what happened at the airport.

Anyways, would it be weird to go see her and see where things go? Given my previous position of power and the age gap?

New to trying to date long distance

Hi,

Honestly i am just quite new to trying to date long distance, i an a M (33) and went on a dating app, matched with this lovely lady from another country.

My question is about pacing, we have been takking for 4 days and i know its all new and recent. But i was wondering how do you pace things out? We have been hitting it off, sharing lots of personal stuff and she even said she would like to meet me in a few month if all goes well.

I would like to initiate phone calls or video calls but when is a good time for those?

Also for you who used a dating app, when did you stop using it? Because i know she still uses hers
